A Pill That Can Prevent Cancer
I was amazed when I read this article about us not getting enough vitamin D. We are always told to keep out of the sun’s deadly rays, but in the process we don’t get the vitamin D that we need. It turns out that vitamin D can help prevent certain types of cancer.
I try to take a multi-vitamin and a complex B vitamin. Looks like I’ll be adding an extra vitamin D to my “cocktail”.

Interesting Kevin - I also take vitamin supplements, however not vitamin D. I remember as a child growing up in the Great White North (hoser to you too!), we used to take cod liver oil in the winter - yuck! Our parents were smarter than we thought! Beauty, eh?
I will pick some up today.
Thanks!

Interesting. I also appreciate your website of collected research. However, it amazes me that there has been no significant research after the paper in 2003 that MUC 2 is the “cause” of the PMP mobidity. You would think that someone would at least try a pharmalogical test of genestein or prehaps develop some other sort of molecular “plug” to decrease mucin production. Otherwise it makes the MOAS a waste to simply let mucin build up again.

My boyfriend of 27 yrs underwent 8 hr. surgery at Mt Sinai 2 weeks ago with
HIPC (hot chemotherapy) and unfortunately a golf size tumor in the small
intestine was not removed and he will have to have chemotherapy when
he is well enough to try to shrink this tumor. I haven’t read any information
about treatment after surgery and was wondering if you know of anyone
who went through the same thing.
We were also told by his oncologist at the hospital near us that there was
no surgery for this type of cancer.
thanks for any info.
